The Force of the Invisible: Sustainable Fashion as Art An immersive exhibition at London Design Festival 2025.
London, UK from 13th to 21st September, this year’s London Design Festival, a powerful and unconventional exhibition, will challenge the way we see fashion, waste, and sustainability. The Force of the Invisible by Aluhmora presents a collection of six unique dresses, created entirely from discarded materials and natural elements such as dry leaves.

The Force of the Invisible: Sustainable Fashion as Art An immersive exhibition at London Design Festival 2025.
Each dress represents one of the essential forces of life: Earth, Water, Air, Fire, Forest, and Urban, exploring the deep connection between nature, culture, and human consumption. By transforming what society discards into works of art, the installation invites visitors to reflect on their own relationship with fashion, waste, and the environment.
“This work is not just about fashion,” says Simone Camêlo, founder of Aluhmora. “It is about presence, memory, and transformation. Each dress carries the energy of renewal, showing that beauty and meaning exist even in what we throw away. My mission is to give voice to the invisible, to artisans, to nature, and to the hidden power of sustainability.”
The installation also includes a display of Brazilian golden grass handicrafts and fishing net jewellery and bags handmade by women artisans who preserve ancestral knowledge and sustainable practices. Through this dialogue between art and craft, the exhibition connects global audiences with the cultural and environmental richness of Brazil.
